At 7:00 rain stopped and our moods improved. A night rain was a blessing for us. It meant the road without dust, which was very important. We were to wheel 92 kilometers. Lack of road did not threaten us any more. It is already two weeks along such “roads”. But even such “road” very and those 92 km were not at all easy for us. And the night rain helped us. It was sunny but cloudy. The Sun was hiding behind clouds.
Christian brothers and sisters from Magdagochi church met us. We again became sure in their hearty share and the wish to help us with our problems. After lunch and a prayer we began preparations for the evening meeting in the central square of the town. The church house there is located close to the Orthodox temple, but it does not mean existence of any problem. The square is surrounded by 5-story dwelling houses and listeners on the balconies were present.
Good practice of announcing the arrival of the Expedition by the loud-speaker and invitation to the meeting always has positive result. Those who wanted to see and listen to the members of the bike trip came to the square. Touching singing of Natalia and Edward, the Mashonovs, inspired testimonies of members of the bike trip did not leave people indifferent. Marina and Kate and their “friend” Sharik (Pavel Kalmykov) worked very well. They played with kids a lot.
And as usual we talked to people after the meeting. All members of the Expedition were involved in fellowship. Brother Levon talked to Armenian people. There is a big Diaspora of Armenian people in this region. We gave the Bibles and booklets about the bike trip to people. Coming together for dinner in the church we thanked the Lord for the opportunity to tell people about Him and His love to people, His Word, which changes the life of any person, who opens it with love.
During dinner Pastor Igor Molchanov from Taldan called us and happily informed us that after our departure 11 new people came to the church on Sunday and 3 of them repented. They are two young boys - of 12 and 15 years old and a lady. We prayed for these new converts and thanked our Lord for doing miracles – saving people from their sins! We do hope this day worked for the glory of our Lord and it finished with our joyful and sincere prayers to Him.
