A major bike tour is finally over. On the evening of 3 September in the Moscow offices of the “Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptist” (RUECB), many of those who participated in the transcontinental bike expedition “The Gospel to the Peoples of the World” gathered to celebrate its completion. The tour had started in Varel, Germany on 13 May and ended as scheduled on 2 September in Vladivostok. |

The last day of the Expedition. Usual wake-up and the last portion of our way – 110 km. The distance is not large, but the road is busy. Drivers in Vladivostok are not accurate in driving and often do not observe traffic rules. |

Today is the last day of summer. The fall will begin tomorrow. So we imagined we were on vacations and had an extra hour of sleep. The alarm clock waked us up at 6:30 a.m. We washed our faces quickly, had breakfast at 7:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m. escorting cars arrived and we continued our trip. |

On 6 August, city authorities chose the grounds of a Baptist church in Lipetsk south-east of Moscow for the bomb search of a local city bus. On that Monday morning the bus and a group of police and security officials arrived just as the congregation`s pastor and a colleague were standing in the churchyard. |
